The youth of today has to know that the future belongs to them. But if they are not aware of the present, how can they face the future? Every young man and every young woman today must accept responsibility for their life because that’s the only way to grow.
The old talk about yesterday; the youth should talk about the future because that’s where they are going to spend their lives.
That’s why I wrote this book; I see a lot of people living with a mindset of “when I, then I”, which is a way of ignoring responsibility and feeling justified within themselves. But the truth behind the fact is, the earlier you accept responsibility, the better it is for you.
Secondly, I see people not knowing their course of action. When someone gets saved, born again, it’s like God’s giving them a car and saying, “This car belongs to you”. Now, to drive that car you wouldn’t sit in the back seat and drive, yet this is what many people are doing. They are having a tough time because you cannot drive a car from the back seat, as every driver has to sit in the front seat to drive properly and avoid problems. When you are in the front seat, you can see ahead and navigate correctly to your destination.
What I am trying to say is that God does something in our life and expects us to do something for ourselves.
Nothing will take the place of action in life for us to see results; there are too many people today who are sitting down with hope and expecting things to turn out well, and that’s not enough.
Nothing works if you don’t work it out, and so in this book I have written 25 nuggets of truth that will help you see ahead and take advantage of time.
I know that you have entrusted me with one of your most precious resources, your time. I promise to do my best to be a good steward of the minutes we spend together. You won’t have to go round the book looking for points because you will find points in every page.
My prayer as you read this book is that God will reveal His plan and purpose for you to stir up what He has deposited in you, and cause you to take action towards the great plan He has for your life, in Jesus’ Name, amen.
